05/19/2015 - Chuck was a great machinist but never got to fulfill those dreams. Chuck was in a motorcycle/car accident shortly after graduation from Norman High School that left him with a major brain injury. Chuck was active in AA and a mentor for others with head injuries. He always had a smile, a joke and was a friend to all - Cynthia Potts Isenberger (Chuck's sister)
Oh sweet Chuck! You beamed, laughed and always had such kind words for all those who knew and loved you. I don't believe you ever made an enemy because you brought so much joy into the room when you walked in. You never hurt a kind soul, worshipped your family and rolled with whatever was going on at the time either in the classroom or the student center. Blessings on the stairway to heaven.
Putting you and your family at the top of my prayer list tonight my dear.
I met Chuck when we rode to vo tech in okc together. He was always positive and great to be around. After school we did not cross paths again for a few years. I saw him every year or two after that just by coincidence and fairly frequently in his last 2 years. My kids moved to the neighborhood by Irving school. They always enjoyed talking to him for a while when he went by on his rounds. I asked my daughter after some time if she saw him lately, we looked online and found his obituary. A great friend to anyone he met Chuck brought smiles to all. I and my children miss him. Chuck will always be in our thoughts.
My kindest thoughts and prayers go out to Chuck's family. I would occasionally see Chuck at the grocery store or somewhere Eastside. He always had a smile and would tell me I was beautiful. We had alot of fun in high school goofing around. He made the best of the situation after his accident and taught us all a good lesson about life, sense of humor and love. Ciao dear friend.
