Paul Enouen, Jr. passed away on March 31, 2015 in Cottonwood, AZ. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Enouen, Sr. He was survived by his wife, Sheila Enouen of the home; his children Sarah of Austin TX, Erin and Sam Zurofsky of Kerhonkson Ny; Simon of Huntsville AL; Emma of Norman OK; Rachelle of Cottonwood AZ; and William Trey of the home. Also, step-daughters Bethanni Higgins and Erin Adams, both of Cottonwood AZ; his mother Jerrie L Dexter and husband Edward of Chickasha OK; brother Terry and wife Brandy of Oklahoma City; brother Larry Enouen of Norman, and former wife Stephanie Hetz Enouen of Norman.
Paul worked at Norman Regional Hospital in facilities management for 20+ until he moved to Cottonwood AZ to do similar work at the Verde Valley Medical Center. He later worked Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Phoenix, L'Auberge de Sedona Resort, Yavapai College and lastly as the Sr. Chief Engineer with Diamond Resorts International, Sedona Summit.
Paul spent a good part of his childhood in Arizona when his father was stationed at Luke Airforce Base in Glendale. He enjoyed going back there over the years to hike and camp and choose to make his home in Cottonwood which is just south of the Sedona & Flagstaff area. Paul enjoyed a number of hobbies including gardening, photography, ham radio, and tinkering with computers, cars, etc. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Cottonwood.
I wanted to add a personal memory of Paul, besides the obit. I did not remember Paul from NHS. He was only there his Senior Year when his family returned to Norman for his father to finish a degree at OU. My memories begin in 1996 when I married his father. Paul was easy going, had a great laugh and was knowledgeable about a great many subjects. He could fix just about anything. His father and I made many visits to their home to see our youngest grandkids and later several trips to visit in Arizona. Paul is greatly missed by his family.
