Kathy was killed in a motorcycle accident in August of 1980, she met a guy in bar and went for a ride without a helmet and never came home. We grew up down the street from each other and I have many wonderful memories from our school years. I occasionally see her Mom and sisters. Kathy's life was too short.
kathy lived a block away from me and our friendship started in grade school. we were rainbow girls together and took many trips to grand assembly in stillwater together. she had a great sense of humor and was a good friend. i think of her often!
What sad news! I remember Kathy in the eighth grade at West -- she was cute and smart and cheerful. She was the kind of girl you could envision as a future leader and inspiring force.
I remember, going out on the weekends to campus corner with Kathy. We went bar hopping @ could'nt get a mixed drink! That's when we learned the importance, to have a designated driver. Kathy was outgoing, beautiful, and had many dreams in her life. Kathy was loved very much!
